Is It God’s Will?

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) – Hebrews 10:23 (KJV)

Do you know that God is faithful? Do you know that He is faithful to do what He has promised to do in His Word?

God will do what He said He would do if we hold fast to our profession of faith.

Only we have been taught that you never know what God will do. We are taught wrong about His promises, so we believe that we have a 50/50 shot at God coming through for us.

I John 5:14-15 tells us that if we ask according to His will, we know that He hears us, and if He hears us, we can have confidence that we have the petition we have asked of Him.

Why don’t we see the promises coming to pass in our lives?

We don’t know His will. We know what we have been taught by the preachers and teachers we have sat under, but we have never gone to the Word for ourselves.

For example, we are taught that going to Heaven is the ultimate healing.

Only Romans 8:11 tells us that He heals our mortal bodies. That is this one.

Psalm 91:16 says that we can have long life.

Psalm 118:17 states “I will not die but live and will proclaim what the Lord has done.”

We cannot fulfill the purposes (Jeremiah 29:11, Genesis 12:3) for our lives without a healed body on Earth.

In fact, Deuteronomy 30:19 makes the statement that God has set before us life and death, blessing and cursing. In this Scripture, God tells us to choose life.

We need to dig into the Word and find out what the Word says.

Then we must set our belief on that.

We can put those Scriptures that prove what God’s Will is before our eyes every day, listen to the Scriptures audibly and meditate on them. As we do this, we will start to believe God’s Word effortlessly.

The key is to know God’s Will, then believe what God says.

Then we will know that what God promised will come to pass.
