No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. (Hebrews 12:11 NIV).
The discipline of choosing to believe the Word over our circumstances, the discipline of casting down evil thoughts, doesn’t seem pleasant at the time. When we reap the harvest, though, and see our spiritual muscles grow, we understand why we endured the process.
